Stop the bbc sending out the wrong message to breed bulldogs!!

Please develop the plot to highlight how many dogs die every day because of overbreeding. They are not money making machines and should not be potrayed as such under any circumstances

The fallout this could have for Bulldog Rescue is very worrying

its a disgrace, look how many bull breeds are being pts each day in UK

Your storyline is ill conceived and irresponsible and potentially cruel should a certain type of person be influenced by the 'get rich quick' idea that you are promoting. The poor defenceless animals are at risk from cruelty & suffering, it is intolerable,

do not do this. if u had a staffordshire bull terrier then fair enough we know too many people do this but dont ruine the bulldogs for the future.

Please do not air this story, it's just going to spark uneducated people how need to make some extra money to buy & breed precious bulldogs without knowing anything about the breed & their needs. This could find people breeding bulldogs they already own, but more worryingly buying bulldog specifically to breed, all because they'll think they can make quick cash. Please rethink this storyline

You are so wrong to carry out this storyline. Bulldogs are very precious to all us bully owners, and you are portraying the idea of breeding them to make a quick buck. There will be many uneducated people who will see this as a way out of financial difficulty with no understanding of what goes into breeding and maintaining these dogs. Shame on you BCC!

This is wrong to exploit the budog the breed are not for financial gain but a pet and true friend, I think you should make some apology the BDR put all there time into trying to protect the dog from neglect , I think your story line is adding to the problem they have to face, you should dig deep and give a donation as you have publicly put the breed in danger

Bulldog clubs worldwide are encouraging thheir members not to breed without health testing first. This storyline is likely to encourage backyard breeders, which is exactly what the family in Eastenders are about to become. If BBC want to use a storyline that can actually help, then I suggest that they confer with the Bulldog Breed Council and the KC.

This breed is suffering already because people are trying to make money by overbreeding bitches, who are all too frequently neglected and abused and then abandoned. The BBC should not be publicising the money-making possibilities of the breed.

The soap will not reflex the true nature of breeding bulldogs. I hate to see this being trivialised.
