Stop the bbc sending out the wrong message to breed bulldogs!!

What a flippant remark that could potentially cause someone to believe that it is a good idea to breed their dog just to make a quick buck Rescue centres for ALL breeds are overflowing with unwanted animals I do hope you will make a goodwill gesture and donate to appropriate breed rescues

I have family members who breed bulldogs, it is their life. They take great care in making sure that the breed isn't tarnished in anyway, they are fully licensed and registered. All of their dogs are Cruft winners in one way or another. They work very hard to ensure that every puppy they re-home is going to a safe and loving environment. I feel the storyline the BBC are proposing will be a distorted and irresponsible message of bulldog breeding.

Such people don't understand the time,effort, expense and heart break that goes into breeding. Many a time u just break even, its about the satisfaction

While soaps may be a reflectin of the real world, the BBC and the producers have a duty of care to thevulnerable....animals are the vulnerable here.Face up to your responsibilities instead of fretting about your viewing figures.

Stopped watching Eastenders a long time ago, certainly won't be watching it ever again if this is the crap they are dreaming up?

Educate the public, show them the 100's of healthy unwanted dogs killed every week, some under 1 year, show how a female can easily die in whelp especially a Bulldog who would need a c section to be able to give birth.
