Stop the ban on unnatural hair colors

It is hair, it's not distracting. If someone has pink hair, then it's not more distracting than a pink chair or poster or whatever.

Personally, I have dyed my hair quite a few times, and each time I have been unfairly punished. I think it's just stupid because if a child dyes their hair and gets punished for it, it is a lot more distracting for other students to take the child out of their lesson and to punish them. We are always told to be ourselves and be independent but then we are punished for doing so. We are told to live while we are young, but again we get punished for doing so.

My friend was told not to come back to school because when she went outside her black hair looks blue.

i don't understand how it's distracting??? honestly???

I just got into a school that allows colored hair and all my friends back at the old school are really jealous because they aren't allowed to. colored hair is perfectly fine and it actually pisses me off that people think it's "distracting".

I just want pink hair! Dying hair is just like cutting hair, people compliment you on the new look and leave. Tbh i really don't agree with the whole school dress code thing, but i would really like to focus on the hair at the moment.

I 100% believe that if waking up a student at five a.m for school and working as earlyas eight "doesn't affect their work ethic or health" as school administration says then neither should a persons hair. If rainbow colors are so distracting perhaps schools should cut all decorations out and. Stay black and white. They are saying students have the attention span of a chimp to be distracted by an unnatural hair color. Perhaps it is the teachers faults for not correctly engaging the students to their lessons. Hair is not a sex organ nor a secondary sex organ and Colors aren't new so there are no reasons to be distracted. The only thing hair is is a form of self expression and coloring it should be treated the same as it being braided or curled.
