Camping in Wales with a family for a week with no shelter from the elements or a place to cook outside the tent is going to be a challenge. We come to Greenman to escape the hassles of real life, not to add to to them. Not your best move - please reconsider, if only for the Settlement

Simply won’t be coming this year with family. Have attended for last 6 years. Our Gazebo provides shelter and central space for settlement dwellers in 4 tents. Have no intention of turning this family break into some kind of endurance challenge!

This undermines everything that GM is about...we willingly go & spend our money in the food & drink outlets...but one of GM's unique selling points is the safe communal gathering amongst friends & family on the camp site...feeble excuse to become more corporate & sell more pitches...if cleaning up the mess is such an issue (which I've never seen btw) why not take a refundable deposit from people when they pitch up??

If this isn't lifted we won't be attending. Our event shelter provides a hub for our four-tent, 12 person camp and is essential to our week at Green Man. Shockingly stupid decision, please think again.

We've used the same event tent every year we've attended and have never ever left a crumb on the site after pack up. We are settlers each year and really need the event tent coverage to set up our kitchen as we cook meals each evening (for up to 12 persons daily) until the Festival opens on Thurs. I won't be attending next year if the event tent ban prevails.

gazebos / event shelters are essential for families with little ones to play with friends close to their tent. Not being able to do this would deter me, my family and friends from coming.

Terrible decision. Please don't pretend it's anything to do with abandoned gazebos. Please reverse the decision and maintain your status as "world's finest festival"

This would have been the 5th GM for me and my family, we've taken our shelter every time, used it every time and brought it home every time. This is corporate greed dressed as ethical policy, shame on you GM.
