It's barbaric and has little impact on controlling the spread of bovine TB. A humane approach of vaccination for cattle and badgers should be adopted.

You can't kill everything willfully in the hope it'll help, badgers just get blamed cos farmers font like them anyway, same with ctows

Vaccination is a better option. There is no scientific proof that the culling of badgers works to reduce bovine tb.

It has Been proved time and time again that badgers are not carriers of TB this is just another excuse for the government to wipe out more beautiful wildlife ..hope they sleep at night with this heartless badger cull on their conscience.....or do they have a conscience?

Theresa May supports badger culling (and hunting) as do most of her government. It is shameful that this costly, inhumane and unworkable cruelty is continuing, especially when the majority of this country are opposed to it. That's a Tory govt for you.

Bovine TB accounts for less than 1% of TB cases in the UK - we get the rest from human transmission. There has to be a better way of controlling TB than killing animals responsible for less than 1% of infections
