Stop this cull now. Cattle's lowered immunity - due to feeding chemically adulterated feed, and pesticdes/fertilsed pasture - is to blame for high rates of TB. Tell government to stop pandering to big business via the farming lobby.

Needless to kill these native species and unproved grounds for doing this. Protect livestock better, STOP killing our native species. Spend the funds on inoculations and better care for our species.

Pointless and cruel slaughter of a precious and protected native species. There is no scientific evidence demonstrating that slaughtering badgers would eradicate bovine TB. The government must divert the substantial resources being used and instead improve farmer education, farming practices and biosecurity on farms. "New research led from the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) says that badgers rarely come into contact with cattle. It suggests that TB is likely to be spread by bacteria in the environment, for example in slurry and manure."
