Pilot culls have failed on all 3 criteria, no proof that culling has any meaningful effect on bTB. Improvements are already being seen without culling.

We are mere stewards of this world1 Killing badgers was initiated to placate silly ignorant farmers. The movement of cattle around this island is to blame for btb not the badgers.

All of the trials that have been undertaken (e.g. Krebs) have proven that the problem lies elsewhere. The government prefers to ignore that and the wishes of a large proportion of its citizens! And as for the whips being active during the vote in Parliament! Don't forget all of this during the next election!!!!!

bTB is a decease endemic to cows, cows infect the badgers and badgers infect the cows back. Why blame the badgers? The problem is lack of biosecurity and transportation around the country. The answer is vaccination not extermination!. Also people should dump dairy products many people are now vegans due to the horrors that go on behind the scenes of the dairy, meat and eggs industry and also because of the terrible impact to health and the planet. In this case, whether people are vegans or not, we all want to save Britain's beautiful badgers!!

My family live in the UK. My Sister lives in Suffolk, and at her home, I have watched and loved watching the badgers, who come into there grounds at night to feed on peanuts. Wonderful animals. We should be proud of our wildlife and protect them at all costs.

Vaccinating badgers is cheaper, less socially divisive, more effective against bTB, humane, won't take 25 years, backed by empirical evidence & scientists, popular with the public, won't risk exterminating an ancient species which has been here for longer than we have, doesn't damage the farmers' reputations in the eyes of their customers, is more effective in badgers than in humans (and it worked for us!), doesn't kill animals 98% of which are healthy ... kill the cull, not even more badgers (without even testing the carcasses for bTB). This is immoral political expediency. Stop it now.
