This project should be located on 31st or 33rd street as part of the Penn Station project. Penn South has to constantly be disrupted due to building and underground projects either on Penn South property or surrounding us. The noise, pollution and issues of the magnetic field will reduce our quality of life. Enough is enough. The politicians we constantly support need to back us on this.

Do not build the substation so close to my home. There are enough electromagnetic sources in the area to harm us. Please choose a location away from our buildings!

This project would be a nightmare for the people living in the area and would be dangerous to their physical and mental well-being.

An electric power substation on 28th Street will be a blight on Penn South and a huge disruption to the lives in our community.

Situating a power station under a residential street is inappropriate and just plain WRONG. I urge you to reconsider.

Please don't build a substation on this highly residential street. Find a more appropriate non-residential location like 31st or 33rd streets.

The greenery around Penn South serves as a park for the entire neighborhood, giving all of us a much-needed respite from the noise and chaos of the surrounding city. The MTA substation does not belong here.

It is not safe, healthy, or necessary to build this substation in a residential area of Chelsea. There are plenty of more industrial locations where it will not endanger the well being of residents. As Corey Johnson said, this is the worst possible plave you could build it. Please show you care about people in NYC and relocate this project.

This substation is literally right outside of my window and I am highly concerned about the impact this will have on the health and well-being of my family which includes a four-year-old son and a husband with a lung condition called sarcoidosis. There are far more suitable non-residential areas in which to build this. I hope with all of my heart that you will consider my reasonable request as it is wildly inappropriate and will pose a danger to my family. Thank you for your consideration.

Call I have an existing one condition call sarcoidosis and I’m highly concerned about the health impact this will have on myself in addition to my family. I respectfully ask that is substation be built one block East behind FIT campus which will be far more appropriate given that It does not serve as a residential space. Thank you for considering this most reasonable request.

The substation must be kept out of our residential area. Put the substation in commercial or non-residential site.
