Very inconsiderate by the MTA, especially to senior citizens.

This project could force thousands out of their homes through never ending noise, dirt, rats. The residents of 28th Street have put up with more than their fair share over the last 5 years. Enough!

I actually don’t understand the necessity for this substation or this location. I do know that the quality of life here in my neighborhood has steadily declined for the last 10 years. I have read some of the other comments and most of them make all the sense in the world to me. If this is absolutely necessary and the location is absolutely necessary please let us know why? Also question yourselves.

Speaking as someone who's a caregiver for a disabled resident on 28th Street, this proposed construction will make our lives immeasurably more difficult by closing off access to the only affordable supermarket in the neighborhood. there's a lot of elderly and impaired people here.

This project will expose the commmunity to massive quality of life disruptions, noise, vermin, environmental and health risks. Such a project has absolutely no business in close proximity to residential buildings and I am strongly opposed to it.

This substation will be a quality of life and health hazard to people living in the vicinity.

Too dangerous. Here is an idea. Have the MTA Board move their elderly Grandparents, Parents, Aunts and Uncles into our area while they go about there construction. In fact have the top ranking MTA members move into our complex during that construction period. They are certain to enjoy themselves. Unbelievable move on part of MTA.

Why on earth is this being planned for a quiet residential street? Thousands of people will be affected. Pick somewhere else!

Pls, DO NOT build he substation at this location. It is nice place to live. We do not want the noise, polution, noise, rats, not to mention the magnetic fields that cause cancer. There is plenty of space where Penn Station is-why not build this substation on those streets? The city already becoming impossible to leave in, you're trying to ruin the area that is till livable. PLEASE,DON"T
