Way too much noise and dirt already. It’s killing our quality of life. This is a residential area!

This is a residential neighborhood. Should not be here. WHY WOULD A SUB STATION FOR THE MTA BE PLACED HERE!!

I live on 28th street and worry about the safety, the emotional and phycological impact it will have on my family and neighbors

Find another location further West on 28th St., or another street, so as not to interfere with residences.

Please let us keep our calm. Don’t dig in for another Subway system here. Thanks

An MTA power station in the middle of a densely-populated affordable housing complex, one of the few little green oases in lower manhattan, with a high proportion of senior citizens and families with young children? This is the best place to build a substation? How is that even possible? I guess we don't need political satire any more, because you can't get any more bizarre than real life. Any elected official that does not resist this in every way possible had better not expect this community's support come election time ... and we do vote in high numbers.

I, too, am opposed to the substation planned for 28th Street. It can negatively affect the many residents in the area. Do it in anon-residential area or don’t do it at all !

It’s amazing how the MTA will invade residential neighborhoods, when clearly other areas of the City can and should be considered.
