I object to the proposed installation on the grounds that it will be an eyesore, intrusive for local residents and out of keeping with the rest of the area.

If LB of Bromley is going to improve this area to provide a nicer environment they should be strongly opposing this ugly monstrosity proposed. Sensible to construct it away from the Green.

This proposed mast is far too tall for a location on Elmers End Green, which is essentially an historic village green and should be respected as such. Within a few hundred metres of Elmers End Green is Elmers End station, which certainly has space for such a mast. Next to that is a large Tesco's site that could also accommodate it. Opposite that is an industrial estate, which would also form a much more suitable site. Therefore, there is absolutely no justification for placing this mast on Elmers End Green. Thank you

The trees are looking lovely - how could anyone think a huge mast would be anything other than an eyesore that diminishes everything around it.

Erecting & maintaining this will play havoc with what is already an extremely busy roundabout.
It won’t improve visibility either

Totally inappropriate place to site this enormous mast. It would undoubtably have a significant negative impact on the area as a whole.There are plenty of industrial sites nearby that offer a much more appropriate location.

I strongly object to the telecom mast on Elmers End Green. The Green is a local landmark and part of the history of the area. We should be protecting our history and not destroying it. It will be unsightly and completely out of place. If a telecom tower is needed in the area, it should be sited on an industrial area.

In this area we already have a massively equipped telecomm's Tower which is located in the Beckenham Rugby Club a few hundred yards away, which has been updated several times over the years.
There is still serious concerns regarding dangerous Microwave transmissions from these masts.
Having another equally distant in the opposite direction means double the exposure to these radiations, and also the likelihood that the two masts will inter-communicate with each other therefore increasing exposure to the population below.
Also to be seriously considered is the eyesore on our "Village Green" which is protected by L.B.Bromley under the "Urban Open Space" designation. It would be a travesty to sully this lovely open area with this abomination.

We don't like unsightly, culturally heavy handed brutalist in the Elmers End community and a public area, to boot. The green has 300+ years of history. No vandalism here.

The impact, should this application be successful, would in my view destroy the heart of what is Elmers End. We must all have seen examples of this happening Nationwide. There are clearly other locations in the local area where this could be sited without such a major impact, local industrial estates for example. Why must everything of value to local communities be scared or destroyed by these monstrosities .
