If such a mast is necessary it could be located elsewhere - somewhere on the former sewage farm, for example? The pretty green at Elmers End with its flower beds is highly inappropriate for such an installation and a central point at Elmers End

This area is urban open space and should not be subjected to this montrosity. There are plenty of other places nearby which would be far more suitable and less prominent

Putting a phone mast on a Historic Green is unacceptable especially when there are other suitable areas for this to be located.
