It is a shame there is no safe way for the communal green to be accessed by the local community who may wish to do so for recreational purposes.

I think there are enough masts around for the companies to share. And I have noticed there are many applications being made for these - e.g. in Copers Cope Road, & Lawrie Park Road.

Crazy. We should be improving our area not sticking random eyesores everywhere. That green needs thoroughly sorting out and improving. This will not help.

I object to this mast on 1. Historic/ cultural grounds 2. It will be an eye soar 3. Can you confirm 100% there are no health implications connected to the mast. It is very close to nurseries, schools and families.
Elmers End, as a district, was first recorded in the reign of Henry III (1216-1272) as land owned by Ralph Aylmer. Researching local records in Beckenham Library, Elmers End Green mentioned in a survey made for local landowner Peter Burrell in 1723. This little triangle of land is shown in exactly the same shape and location in 1775 and it has continued to be shown in all maps ever since. Please leave it alone

The council’s policy is that any development on UOS must be related to the existing use or be small scale – clearly not the case here..

it would be unsightly slap bang in the middle of the green surely there are less conspicuous places to put it, nearby industrial estates for instance.

This can’t happen on the lone green space at Elmers End. There is an industrial site near Tesco’s which wouldn’t affect so many people.

I agree with all the listed objections and reasons 1 to 6. If a mast is necessary, then it would hardly be noticed by anyone on one of the industrial estates, where people only really see the surrounding large warehouse-type buildings!
