Stop the 18metre telecoms mast on Elmers End Green

I oppose this being erected in this location. I don't feel this is needed, with phone signals locally very strong and would look ugly and out of place on an otherwise historic piece of land.

This local historic area must not be vandalized with this , in my opinion, unessary construction. An alternative site ,if deamed necessary, must be found.

This is totally unacceptable.

Surely there's a less residential location for this mast, rather than a green surrounded by local businesses and houses.

This will be a hideous eyesore, block the light to my living room and devalue my property. Firmly against.

I have lived here for over 40 years and would object to such an object being erected on the green.

I strongly oppose this. Why do we even need it - phone signals around here seem good as they are - especially given it will be a huge eyesore and encroach on a historic and important piece of land.

The plan to desecrate the area known as Elmers End Green with a telephone mast and additions is a ridiculous idea. Surely the powers that be will have more nous to find another site on the commercial estates in the area. Please do not keep on eating into the open spaces that make Beckenham as nice as it is

There are more (less obtrusive) locations around Elmers End for such a mast - surely an alternative could be found?

Please place somewhere less intrusive i.e. light industrial area.

We do not need this on our green. It will ruin it for everyone. Put it on top of a building, the samuel one next to masons motor company for example

Would our councillors agree to such a mast in their garden? If not there is only one way to vote.

Completely out of scale with the surrounding area. If one is really needed, it should be placed near the industrial units (Tesco, Screwfix or Magnet Kitchen areas) next to the railway line in the Elmers End Station area.

Worst possible location to place a communications mast of these dimensions. Every effort should be made to oppose the location of this mast.

Total eyesore and not in keeping with the area
