Tattoos are art. They don't change a persons abilty to work or be a good citizen

I personally don't have tattoos, but 2 of my 4 children do, and I shop at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I can choose just Hobby Lobby if Michael's likes bullying small businesses, regardless that I'm in another state, I can share with my friends, I'm sure they are interested in this fact.

I’m an elderly woman without tattoos ~ couldn’t stand the pain! ~ and I’m against discrimination. Period. No one person or business is better than another. In this case it‘s a matter of choices. DO NOT DISCRIMINATE.

I believe this is an injustice to someone that is just making an honest living. Many people have tattoos and are creative people. Perhaps these same people would venture to Michael's for hobbies, etc. We all need to share space in our Universe. If we don't, it will be a tragedy for all of us :(

I won't be doing any business with Michaels as long as they continue with this practice.

I had to drop out of medical school because they made such a big deal about the tattoos it didn't matter that I had a 4.0. too. Its a Shame, that was my only chance at working since I'm disabled physically, but still wanted to be able to work with my brain. My heart's broken companies still have these barbaric practices and I'm going to name it pinnacle health is one of the worst.

Tattoos shops are about art. We are not criminals, we are not dangerous, we are artists.

The irony that an arts and crafts store is against art. In this day and age, is it even legal to discriminate in this way? I personally do not even have one tattoo and I find this policy ridiculous and absurd.

Tattoo artists deserve the recognition of their incredible artistic talent. Just because they use different medium to showcase their talent should not be discriminated against. I will never shop at Michaels again!

Thank God for Jimmy, Micheal's you messed with the wrong person, just like the rest of us Tattooers that have been thru this crap too. I went to the City Counsel and what is legal in Pa. is legal anywhere in Pa. They had to eat their own ideology and give me permission to open. That was 1986 and I tattooed until 2015 when I had to retire because 6 jerks rear-ended me in Florida over a period of time and destroyed my neck. So we can use our Constitutional Rights just as anybody else does. By the way Jesus loves us equally and He knows when others are bullies like Micheal's. He gave us a path to walk down and by God's help we walk with our heads held high.

This makes me want to drive by Michael's. If they do this all our crafting friends will know and drive past to Joanns.
