It is appalling that this big company was able to go around the county's legitimate methods for approval! They are now operating a noisy polluting business on agriculturally-zoned land sitting right next to residences. Please make this right.

This pit is no longer compatible with the surrounding area. It should have been done before the housing community was approved, but it is too late now. We as the residents should not have to pay the price for this. There is not enough data to prove that Coulsons operating procedures will not negatively impact our health. The silica dust is deadly and will travel no matter how much watering they do. It will get into our heating and cooling systems, then into our houses, and lungs. This site is just too close to houses. Plus there is the added, noise, traffic, and loss of property value. I work from home and our property is right next to the proposed site, my desk looks out on to the pasture. How I am supposed to get any work done with all the noise - even at their so-called acceptable level? I also have Pompe Disease in which the leading cause of death is respiratory failure. My doctors and nurses are extremely concerned for my health if the pit is allowed to go in only a few hundred feet from where I live. Because of my Pompe Disease, my diaphragm is weak. Therefore I cannot expel things from lungs as easily as a healthy person, the silica dust I would be forced to inhale would kill me faster than a healthy person. Please do not allow this pit to go in. Do not put profits over people. Over the people who elected you and who you swore to represent and protect.

Larimer County Commissioners: Just uphold the Larimer County guidelines for this Use by Special Review. The land is not zoned for mining and the guidelines state that "the proposed use must be "in harmony" with the neighborhood." It's not and everyone knows it. Uphold your guidelines - vote NO.

Even if you can counter most points, such as traffic and depreciation of our houses. I implore you to not ignore the health ramifications it will cause. I have an autoimmune disease and am very susceptible to environmental changes. We have the sweetest 5 year old and 4 mo old. We have taken great strides in our personal health and that of our children, and have made very conscious decisions for our family's health. The children's health should not suffer because of decisions adults make, especially when other options can be sought out. We need your help to stop this! Please do whatever you can to aid us in what could be potentially devastating to our health and way of life.

The request to move forward with the Stroh Quarry should be denied. The time for this has past. The impacts today are huge to the nearby properties and traffic has already become bad and will be worse during I-25 construction. This is NOT a compatible use for this area.

I am adamant in my opposition to the Stroh Quarry literally in my backyard! The quarry is most definitely NON-COMPATIBLE, NON-HARMONIOUS with the surrounding area and neighborhood(s) and WILL absolutely result in SUBSTANTIAL ADVERSE impact on property!

When we purchased our home in 2016, we were told NOTHING about a proposed gravel pit, and there was absolutely no signage around the proposed gravel pit area that indicated this was a possibility. If so, we would never have bought our home, which is in very close proximity to the proposal gravel pit. To now force all of the unsuspecting homeowners to suffer the negative impact this will have on the value of our property is morally wrong, not to mention having to endure the noise and dust from the gravel pit operation and the horrible traffic problems this will create on the I-25 frontage road and 402 interchange. Please do the morally right thing and vote no!!!

The proposed Stroh Pit is in a location that is very unsuitable and will damage property values and quality of life for many homeowners. All of the homeowners will justifiably appeal their propert tax valuations if the Stroh pit is approved.The proposed pit should be relocated to a different and rural area away from any residential developments.
