Long term adverse effects on children should be given more weight than any one person or family's short term gain.

I am opposed to the rezoning for a gravel pit between two established neighborhoods. The traffic, noise, dust, loss in property values and impact on the many wildlife in this area make this a non-conforming use of this land. Please vote no to the Stroh Pit.

As a mother of a child with Asthma, a gravel pit in our backyard will be the end of his outdoor enjoyment in the summer. He can't be breathing n that silica dust.

I oppose issuance of the Special Use Permit for the Stroh Gravel Pit because it is NOT compatible with the communities surrounding this pit.

I am speaking for my family. There are 15 of us. We have adopted 9 special needs children. Myself and one of my adopted sons has lung issues. We are against this and hope that others think of people like us instead of money.

I am opposed of the Stroh Quarry. The owners of the land had years to put in a quarry when there wasn’t a neighborhood present. Now their proposal effects hundred of families and their investments. To many people would be negatively effected so a few could profit.

It is unconscionable that Larimer County would even consider this rezoning of an area not originally designated for mining and destroy the property values and livelihoods of those who made an investment in raising their families in Johnstown. There are other places to mine without effectively destroying the single largest asset many of these families have.

The safety of trucks turning onto either 402 or 34 makes this a NO. What is the cost to the road maintenance and/or improvements that will be needed. Will approve another light at 34 and CR 3. One would be needed.
