Greedy AF Westfield. Here's a good idea: Why not make more money off Guest Celebrities instead? Good business for Westfield, as it brings in fans/customers and our store raked in so much the day The Veronicas were in. Coincidence? I think not.

I cant afford $1000 a year for parking which I don't get back on tax. It's robbery they already get rent from our shops so why do they need more money?!

Without staff there would be no customers. We pay more to park at the centre than customers do, yet we are the ones that keep the centre running?! $3 is bad enough, but $4 is just ridiculous
You have to look after your own if you want them to stay around

The staff carparking is not secured (people have had their cars broken into), not undercovered and is always taken up by customers so tell me why should we have to pay anything at all to park there. Without us in the first place you would have no business.

The reason you brought in paid parking was because you didn't want commuters taking up the parking spots for customers. Staff shouldn't have to pay for parking when they're there to do a job and make the centre money.

I got abused by the guy when i pressed the help button because my staff card was not working and he was asking personal details about me (last name, department i worked in) and i flatly refused. The next time i got a new staff card and i went to put money on it he had blocked it and he said to me
"You knew what you did wrong so i blocked your card" This is unprofessional as i will not give out personal details to which is not my fault that their system is a joke and their staff cards they give us do not always work.

At my store at Garden city, people's cards were blocked because they parked undercover during that storm period we had, other workers cars were damaged in the hail with one of the girls cars on being a couple days old. They had to pay $20 a day for almost a week because the parking people conviently stuffed it up. Westfields didn't apologise, didn't offer nothing and when we spoke to concierge about it they were so rude. I live an hours drive from garden city and if I tried to save money and catch a bus it would be next to impossible as the buses only go once an hour in the early mornings 5.00-9 or late afternoon. I had to catch the bus once and it took me 2 hours all up.

Living 40 minutes in another council gives me no real option other than driving. It would take me an 1 hour and 40 mins minimum to get to work using public transport, that is if all services are running on time and I only had a short shift during the middle of the day.

We pay enough if not too much already. Some of the concierge staff has been rude to a lot of us at times too. And in addition to the rubbish, trolleys, no car cover etc I have also seen red back spiders on the roof top car park so that's a bit of a safety issue I'd imagine!
If Westfield are willing to make staff car parks to the quality of customer parking then maybe this would be fair however as we aren't getting any of the current problems fixed that should be their priority before increasing the rate.
