I'd rather have a pesticide free park with weeds and less flowers than expose my child to these chemicals. Please reconsider your position on this for the health of our community.

Why do you care more about weeds than the health of our children, of our future?

My children play on these playgrounds. I'd rather have weeds than chemo treatments.....

Please stop using Round Up and other deadly chemicals. Children use these areas. Chemicals put them at risk. There are many safe alternatives available.

Michael DeWalt, the Borough of West Chester, PA has stopped using Round-Up through the efforts of a local group "Don't Spray Me!". West Chester Area School District is the offending party in this situation>

If anyone here has a Facebook page, please feel free to post the petition on your own page and ask your WC friends to sign it. Strength in numbers!

I don't use stuff like that in My Own Yard. Children are smaller and their systems immature

Uummmm? What year are we living in? It's time that West Chester starts to get with the program and stops poisoning its residents.

We do not need these type products. Neither do animals and insects. It's time for conscious people to rise up and protect their environment against those that profit at the expense of our health and well being.

Glyphosate is poison and needs to be outlawed.

No pesticides necessary ever. Weeds are part of the ecosystem. Get some exercise: Pull Them Out.

It doesn't matter when you are spraying these very harmful chemicals. Whether you are spraying during school session or during a break you are still polluting the environment with harmful chemicals that can seriously hurt our children, adults, pets, gardens, and other wildlife. Our school gardens full of vegetables are no longer organic after you spray.

Pets--especially dogs and cats--are also sensitive to RoundUp and other possibly carcinogenic pesticides. We implore you to stop using RoundUp immediately!

Children are more sensitive to chemicals than adults. Do not put them at risk with RoundUp in their play areas!
