I have family in the area and I want to know they are safe because the speed limit is enforced.

I have a 4 year old and two dogs and would like them to be safe playing in their yard!

Thank you! I have seen too many animals hit and killed in my years living here. People fly through Walnut Lane and the same on Wissahickon Avenue - we all know this and we've all seen it. Our houses - especially on Wissahickon Avenue - are just feet from the roadway, with long unimpeded stretches that encourage people to totally disregard the posted signs - they may was well not be there at all. I'm so glad this is being done now. We need real speed limiters on our streets - speed bumps, lights, tickets. Thank you. Tony Boris, Esq. 622 W. Noami Street

I live in Blue Bell Hill and would appreciate speed bumps on Wissahickon Ave. I think the road is very dangerous as it is now.

If the city can place speed deterring humps on W. Queen La. between Fox St. and Henry Ave, a lesser traveled residential street, why can't it place them in strategic positions on Walnut La. betwee Johnson St. and Daniel St.?

This is a much-needed petition to let public officials know about the speeding in our neighborhood and get them to do something...finally!
