I have been reading your stories about why our local independence matters and it is clear that Solihull is not just a line on a map to any of us. We are preparing to bring these concerns directly to the council leadership because they need to understand that we will not let our identity be swallowed up.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only one fighting to protect the identity of our town. This momentum proves that people here refuse to let our local council be swallowed up by outside interests.

if it aint broke dont fix it. leave it as it is.
keep solihull independent. birmingham has enough problems of their own without dragging us down with them.
birmingham council is a total joke. no way do i want my taxes going to fund their mess.
so tired of them trying to swallow up everywhere else. solihull is its own place.
HANDS OFF. we pay good money for services here and they actually work. leave us alone.

birmingham council couldn't run a bath. a big no to solihull becoming part of birmingham.
