Students should not have to pay. Employees making under a certain amount should not have to pay. Employees making over a certain amount should have a sliding scale according to income.

As an adjunct faculty member often teaching only a single class per semester, this represents a substantial loss of pay as well as a source of hassle if a payment must be made for every single visit to campus. I am also concerned that requiring payment for campus visits does not create the type of warm and welcoming environment that Saint Mary's has always maintained in the past.

I am a single mother. I have enough financial issues. Please don’t add on to it by making everyone pay $300 for a parking pass that may or may not be used because of the low parking spaces that are available.

I believe that paying for a parking permit would just casue additional stress to the students that is unnecessary. Our current parking situation is usable and fairly treated.

Tuition is already expensive. I wouldn’t be able to go to this school if I didn’t have financial aid or scholarships. Please don’t have us pay for extra unnecessary things like this parking pass.

When I started at SMC 2.5 years ago, parking was free for all and to all including visitors. Implementing a $300 fine for everyone to pay, not to mention the additional tuition increase this pass year, would cause a financial burden to everyone including self-supporting students.

This is unfair in multiple aspects. It is unfair to students who have never had to pay-if anything it should be grandfather-ed in. Secondly, we are paying large amounts for on-campus housing. These have lots included, and it is unfair to charge students already paying so much to live on! Our tuition is steep for many people, and it seems so unfair to charge even more when are paying so much.

Keep Parking Free! We already pay a substantial amount of money. Instead, of putting money into luxuries put that money into necessities like more parking. SMC just making more bad financial decisions.
