I am signing this petition because the odour affecting Skellingthorpe has become unacceptable. It regularly impacts residents' ability to enjoy their homes, gardens and the local environment.
I am also concerned about what I believe to be a lack of care in preventing and responding to spillages associated with the facility. On one occasion, while driving from Skellingthorpe towards Doddington near the Jerusalem Road junction, the smell was so overwhelming that I had to pull over and was physica

This odour is one of the worst smells, it literally turns your stomach. There is always some smell when nearby but sometimes its sickening especially today even though it wasnt even windy.

Not long moved here and the smell is horrendous should have to put up smelling that. Makes me sick! Something needs doing ASAP about it! I want to enjoy my garden and have windows open I can’t put up with that smell!

and the smell makes you feel physically sick. This site should be situated away from housing and schools where the smell would not make such an impact and surely be better for the business. why should we be treated differently than Norton Disney

This rendering plant is unsuitable for Redevelopment/Expansion so close to peoples homes. It is a total 'health and safety' risk and should not be passed.

I am strongly against the proposal forwarded by the Leo Group . We live in a beautiful part of the county and I am concerned an expansion will lead to more noise smell and traffic from the plant .

No expansion of this facility is warranted in this location, the affect on environmental conditions for residents is already intolerable due to the foul smell and heavy haulage traffic. Any increase in the size of this plant will be seriously detrimental to the health and well being of our local community.
