Ministry’s surprise proposal threatens natural heritage protections at the proposed waste processing complex in the Freele County Forest

Enough is enough....with a high water table this us a bad idea!

This needs to go further up north not where there's a community of people living peacefully or maybe send this to the Toronto area?

I have significant safety concerns about these proposed locations in relation to the truck traffic that will be added to an already congested road in the summer and an outright dangerous road in the winter (white-out conditions, deep ditches). Public safety must be a priority when considering the best location for these plants and these two locations.

Totally reject this terrible plan

Please include the Simcoe County Millennium Tract onto your petition as well.

I am very concerned about the ground water!! I hope they do a study to see exactly how much water will be affected.

No thanks! Not in our backyard! There is already a landfill 10 min. from here. Find a different site.

The negative impact that these sites would have on the residents, wildlife and environment in these areas would be tremendous!

Do not place a waste transfer site or an organics composting site on either of the locations identified by Simcoe County C270 and C136

I am not in favour of this proposal as it will have a negative impact on the health and well being of those of us living in this area . Also, it will have a negative impact on the wildlife and their natural habitats.

I am concerned for the people who live here and for the wildlife and their wetlands. I am against this proposal.

Read all the comments from citizens, especially the gateway for skiers and vacationers, bang on!!! Bad decision for the region using that area, 10's of millions of dollars in Real Estate will be affected

Who did the analysis on this sight? Did someone fall asleep at the switch or what?

Horseshoe Valley Road is the gateway for vacationers for skiing and other recreational activities. Simcoe County should be ashamed to even consider such a "welcome" to our visitors!!!!!!!!!

Breaks my heart to think that someone would even consider this area. Who came up with this idea???
