Heather Rutherford's comment about recycling use land that is already spent makes the most sense I have heard in a long, long while. Why strip perfectly good land to do this when there is better choices that are already zoned industrial.

This is too close to OUR FOOD supplies! This is farm land where things grow, is this not environmental protected land or too close to it? We also have organic farming in this area, you will destroy it!

I strongly oppose against two proposing sites for the CPF and MMF projects in the area due to an envirementally unfit and detrimentally to the peoples' wellbeing in the area as well as the township.

I am in disbelief that these sites are even options. I would like to know where members of the Committee reside, I'm guessing not near the areas proposed. Horrible options!!!

The negative impact that this would have on our neighbourhood is substantial ! Not in my backyard! No thanks! Find another location! This would ruin our beautiful natural landscape, that our children play in everyday!

Everyone talks about going green, and yet the proposed sites are forestry land! This will require cutting down trees, disrupting water ways and wildlife. There must be an area of land already cleared , and better suited for this type of plant. Another major concern I have is the safety of drivers along horseshoe valley Rd, an already busy roadway, that hosts many accidents, due to high speed, rolling hills and the ever constant blowing snow!

Living with such clean water and air is the benefit north of the City. We also enjoy outdoor activity with snowmobile and atv trails. There is no reason for such a site this close to the city.

The County of Simcoe should not be allowed to re-zone our protected forested lands to industrial land purposes. Please move the waste transfer and industrial scale composting proposals to existing zoned industrial land.

I have lived off Horseshoe Valley Rd for 10 years, and in my experience in driving this road on a daily basis, I have strong concerns with adding a substantial amount of more traffic (trucks). Horseshoe valley road is already a busy through fair, at many times backed up for miles. The winter driving conditions on this road are already complicated with white outs on a regular basis, putting numerous cars, trucks in the ditches every winter season!! To add more traffic to this already dangerous to road way is a HUGE safety violation.!
