There has got to be another way. Don't make this about the money. Is there not some place in an industrial zone that would be a better place?

Why are we considering using county forest or farmland rather than an existing open or closed landfill or transfer station. Either would have the existing infrastructure to accommodate such a project without further damage to existing habitat, watershed or ecosystem.

And reducing/reusing is always better than recycling.

i agree with others who have mentioned this obvious wisdom - there are many industrial sites already available for such purposes - there is no need whatsoever to degrade/abuse what is set apart for agricultural land

Stop distroying the Forrest, peoples communities.

Will ruin the beautiful forest. Besides there is a de commissioned transfer site on oOld Barrie Road that is already cleared with access from the road

I'm sure our township will be smart enough to pick an industrial site more appropriate for this endeavour rather than the proposed sites suggested!

It would be tragic for the people living in the area & the wetlands! Find a better place.

Certainly against this location. At present I live near the Barrie waste and composting site and the stink from pick ups is sickening

While I see the value in this, I am opposed to the Horseshoe Valley site as it will take over some of our only riding trails and my horse and I would have to move to a different barn. We are very happy where we are! We don't want to move!!
