This is not the place for a recycling plant. There is too much at jeopardy with he fresh water in this area and growing population.

I saw the signs on the side of the street and had to look up what they meant. I agree we need to protect forests around Barrie/simcoe county, its what makes our city so pretty :)

It saddens me that Simcoe Forests are not only being sold for residential development but now the very people who should be protecting our environment are looking the other way. We depend on these very forests for wildlife habitats, clean air and the preservation of our area.
Please don't sell out and think about the bottom line!!!!!

The forests (trees) are literally are lungs. When we exhale carbon dioxide, they inhale it. Then, they exhale oxygen that we breathe . Without them we will perish.
Trees also prevent soul erosion therefore, removing them causes flooding. Leave as much green space for our children and their children to live in this bountiful planet. Show some respect for all life. #children #commonsense

I live within a kilometre of the Freele Tract, and can't express how afraid we are about the fire hazard, since this is a dead-end road. There's nothing "environmental" about this plan.
