We need federal, provincial, and municipal govts working together to protect our environment for today and for the future. Please stop turning forests into wasteland.

this is prime turkey hunting land and i want no part of it being used as an industrial dumping ground.

What a ridiculous idea. Save the Forrest and agricultural land. No to garbage

Preserving the integrity of woodland is very important to me. If other areas out of the way are available, make it your priority to choose from those locations instead. Thanks

Unbelievable that Simcoe County would set their sites on this area.

Various industrial sites have been suggested, and all have been brushed aside by County Staff, including the Warden (G. Marshall). The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Springwater Township (who are also members of County Council) had approached the Warden with an industrial site that they were willing to support, and he refused to consider it, on the pretext that it would run contrary to the process and contrary to the wishes of County Council. Presumably he means contrary to his own wishes, as he seems to be blocking the flow of information to the rest of County Council. "For the Greater Good" is the County's motto, but it is not clear as to how one person and his inner circle can dictate the "greater good", as they also did with regard to the "Midhurst Secondary Plan". Now is the time to take back control of our County.

I live down the street from the proposed location and can't imagine the amount of wildlife that would lose their home, not to mention the noise and environmental pollution.

I think this is a very Bad idea! Our world is going to Hell in a handbasket and we need to protect what we have left of it's natural beauty! If i could sign this a million times i would!!

This may be a short-term fix but a long-term disaster. You need to think outside of the box who plays this where it belongs in an industrial Zone area not in our pristine forests.
