I regularly take an elderly lady with cancer for treatment in Harley Street and the journey time has increased dramatically during recent weeks.
This is during the pandemic lock down too.
Our 16 mile journey takes 2 hours which is quite frankly ridiculous and very frustrating.
As we sit stationary in traffic we discuss how much extra pollution is being created by all the idling engines, how much time people are wasting and how much money is being lost by businesses?
Neither of us can see the sense in it.

As London black cab driver that I am, I’m finding it hard to drop or pick my customer from door to door all because of this shutting the street and it’s cost bigger fare to pay at the end of their journey in the taxi, which is not fair. Please stop Shutting the Street.

I’ve been Black Cab driver over30 years and have never been so frustrated and stressed since TFL have used the virus as excuse to close roads .
