Stop Shutting Streets

Residents and all services enormously inconvenienced - practically shut out of their own neighbourhood. Everyone now forced to drive literally round the houses, funneled onto the already congested main roads - has anyone seen what has happened to the South Circular between Streatham Hill and Tulse Hill recently? Longer distances, longer time driving, more congestion = increased air pollution on the major routes, where there tend to be more social housing. Councils are meant to protect, in particular, people of lower socioeconomic levels. What about the coroner's verdict recently on the death of a young girl living along the South Circular in this area? Coroner concluded that air pollution from the roads was a contributory factor.

Open our streets as it's causing more pollution then making it calmer ..tfl are at fault a they have purposely made these changes to scam more money from people by bringing levies in for ulez and congestion ..big plan

The problems the taxi and delivery drivers are experiencing with the closure of roads particularly affect disabled and also females working or out in the evening, The bus transport system suffers because of increased congestion as do emergency services. Please have LTNs and inappropriately placed cycle lanes removed as soon as possible.

Stop all the Ltn road restrictions. They have made it very difficult on the roads and traffic is now too much

Disabled people, need car access 24 hours. Emergency services cannot be delayed seconds are a matter of life and death. Motorists pay road fund licence to use all streets all the time! As do local residents for their parkiing permits.

In support of the Uber industry and against all LTNs and unnecessary road and lane closures. We are all suffering. Uber’s, cars, buses AND the bikes ride on the pavement now.

This is crazy, stopping traffic is stopping a city's lifeblood

They are causing nothing but pollution, stress and anger. Businesses and lives are being ruined. There will be a big queue to the Benefits system if this carries on.

LTN’s are causing misery for the majority of residents. They are also putting lives at risk. Remove them now!

LTNs benefit the few and cause misery for the many. The idea that they're improving air quality is absolute codswallop. In my area idling traffic has worsened significantly on the arterial roads with many passing local schools where you can now smell the fumes every day. LTNs are a categorical failure.
