Think about Disabled, Elderly People Passengers and trying to get home whilst out in town! No one wants to catch 1-3 buses getting cold and wet walking in all weathers and doing the same getting home! Greater Manchester Private Hire vehicles and taxis carry around 100 million door to door passengers each year, whilst that is 50% fewer than GM busses carry, everyone should have the right to choose there own transport! People also look at there own safety late at night, GMCA should provide set down points and pick up points across the city and instead of closing roads off to traffic, look at the failure of GMCA highways failure to deliver free movement of traffic! D2D transport provides a service to the police of dispersing revellers by taking them home before trouble starts! Re rerouting traffic, to get to a destination will cause congestion which will hamper cleaning up GM air pollution!

Mr Mayor, Your prolifigate spending on useless cycle lanes, road closures and so called “road improvements” has bankrupted TFL. When will you come to your senses and take heed of those of us that try to earn a living on London’s streets and who bank roll your stupid and useless schemes?

As an everyday commuter via bike, without doubt the road closures have been detrimental to the air quality along the arterial routes of London as well increasing traffic congestion. Local businesses have also been affected. Consultation and cooperation with all elements of the community will lead to a more sensible plan for the improvement of London roads.
