The road closures already in place are causing severe congestion and even higher levels of pollution. They have lead to an increase of road rage incidents as tempers fray and anxiety increases. There is more dangerous driving as people see the road closure signs too late and mount pavements or do dangerous turns. They discriminate against the vulnerable with disabled people that really on transportation feeling trapped in homes. Those who rely on care visits are left waiting, often with delays to being fed. School children face more danger on their walk to school and those depending on transport are arriving at school consistently late. People that rely on their cars to get to work (not everyone can work from home) are facing much longer joutneys and very long working days. The streets that are now empty have become dangerous with muggings and attempted child abductions on the increase, women do not feel face out on their own. Small businesses already under pressure from Covid 19 restrictions are crumbling from the loss of passing trade and from customers no longer wanting to drive in to shop. Taxi services are taking a massive hit too.

This is effecting my small buisness and effecting me getting to my home more pollution on gridlocked roads and my mum with disabilities is being effected and god forbid is she needs a ambulance with traffic from the high street delaying times also closing off larkhall bridge one side where the Rich abs councillors live Nigel hasledon to let the traffic gridlock the poor side on union road
