Sending girls home to change their clothes and telling them their outfit is "distracting to boys" teaches both boys and girls that a boy's education is more important than a girl's. If boys are being "distracted" they can learn to do what girls do when they're distracted by guys wearing loose fitting basketball shorts all day and SCRATCHING THEIR PRIVATES IN PUBLIC. Yes, it happens. And it's gross. We allow so much expressive freedom to boys and are progressively taking more and more expressive freedom away from girls. Stop the misogynistic bull and let both boys and girls wear what they want as long as it covers their sexual body parts. (Legs and shoulders aren't sexual body parts, keep it in your pants and stop objectifying women and young girls so much they can no longer wear specific clothing items to school)

At my school girls arent allowed to even wear kahki long shorts or skinny jeans i understand the struggle and i want it to stop too.

I think this is a great petition! The idea that boys just can't control themselves so girls have to restrict what they wear is ridiculous. No skirts whatsoever is absurd.

I know you already reached your goal of 100 signatures but this is too good not to sign. this is absolutely ridiculous. instead of banning skirts maybe your school should stop taking the easy way out and actually let girls wear what they want to wear. idk where you live but if you live in America you have freedom under the constitution to do whatever the hell pleases you as long as it's not illegal. and I'm pretty sure wearing skirts isn't illegal. so schools (including mine), stop teaching girls that they need to cover themselves up so boys don't get a boner and teach boys to control themselves!!

The problem isn't the way the girls are dressing. It's the way that society is acting. If a guy wore a short skirt to school, would he get in trouble for having it being too short, or just the fact that he is wearing a skirt.
Change the way that society thinks, not what they may or may not think about.

How about instead of focusing on how good girls look in skirts, you worry about teaching your male students and TEACHERS how to treat a woman like a human being. Thank you.
