Allowing camping in public parks is not a solution for homelessness.

Thank you for doing something. Mike O'Brien and Sawant are nuts. I can't wait to work to defeat them the next time they are up for re-election.

This failed in Portland, look to other cities for solutions.

We can do better than this!

We desperately need to address the issue of homelessness in our city, but this feels like putting a bandaid on a gaping wound.

The parks are for taxpayers and not the homeless! Licton Springs Park in north Seattle already has plenty of issues, such as needles and feces everywhere.

Enough is enough this is ridiculous it does not take care of the problem, but it sure makes it everyone else's.

As with Pronto, Mr. Burgess seems to be the only one thinking with his head.

No homeless camps in our parks!!!!! We need safe places for our children, free from needles, trash, and etc.

We must allow our parks to be used by our children and be clean and safe environments. We must determine other means to aid in the homelessness epidemic.

Unbelievably bad idea, it won't solve homeless problems and will make Public Parks unusable and unsafe for all the public, families and children. Why not buy the ferry boats for the homeless, it would hold a lot of them, has bathrooms and is well located for services.

I live across from Lincoln Park. My children play sports in numerous city parks. Please don't allow these public spaces to become homeless encampments.

Please save our parks, sidewalks, and roadways from becoming trashed, and unhealthy for all concerned. We are finding the garbage and immense quantity of tents completely unacceptable. Parks, sidewalks, roadways are not a healthy solution for the homeless situation. Please Save our city.
