Stop Seattle From Turning Our Parks Into Homeless Encampments

Save our parks! My family has some rights to a safe place to bring my children, to walk my dog, and enjoy the outdoors. Camping in our parks does not solve homelessness.

You must help save our city and vote NO to Bill 118794.

Please find a solution that benefits all.

We all pay for parks for safe public use not for liveing. The city has taken plenty of money in taxes for homeless programs. It's time for the city to recognize all of its citizens not just cater to individuals that refuse to take advantage of provided programs and put a burden on our general population

Completely irresponsible and outrageous. If enacted, it wlll only lead to the further destruction and devaluation of such a beloved city. It has been proven to be ineffective and even detrimental in other cities, and yet it's still being highly considered? Ridiculous!

Weary of the public drunkeness, garbage, destruction of property, and crime associated with these folks all over 50th and I-5.

Have lived here my entire 54 years. What an absolute shame how our city has changed and is becoming a slumville - everywhere. So much for the forgotten "Emerald City".

This must not happen! Why in a city experiencing such tremendous growth and prosperity, is our homeless population skyrocketing?

Stop the insanity. Homelessness needs addressing but not by chasing us out of our parks and endangering our children.

Don't turn our parks into garbage,drug and filth infested areas. NO NO NO.

I'm all for helping people in need but when did the rights of tax paying citizens who follow laws get usurped by people who choose not to? This is in no way a statement against people who are unable to help themselves and need mental help.

This measure will only increase animosity between the homeless and hardworking law abiding citizens. Poorly conceived, it will exacerbate the problem of drugs, crime, safety , public health in our city.

Please not only defer a vote on this legislation, but turn your efforts to developing common sense, balanced, evidence-based legislation that addresses not only the issue of homelessness but also the impact on our investment in our communities.

Keep our parks clean and safe for our kids!

This idea doesn't help homeless. It does endanger our children and ruin our parks!
