Do not allow camping in Seattle parks. The council should be fired if this is allowed for you no nothing about what this city really needs. Stop wasting our time and money on ridiculous issues.

The city needs to find a better solution than invading precious green space in a busy urban area that taxpayers pay to keep clean and safe for children and families.

Homelessness is a problem we should collectively address. Allowing people who are homeless to camp in parks with high bureaucratic standards for relocation endangers those of us who seek to safely escape to parks and enjoy that taxpayer-funded side of our city. The council would be wise to not seek this option as the solution.

This proposal is not good for anyone.

The garbage is appalling. I have never seen the sides of the highway so trashed. We were once a beautiful green city. Now we look careless.

The choices of the politicians are ruining Seattle, the city they supposedly love. There is already a problem with open marijuana use by purposeless adults in the parks since legalization. But, now drug addicts will carpet our playfields with tents, excrement, and trash.

I strongly oppose this “relocation” plan both as a Seattle Homeowner and small business owner. I don't believe such a small group of elected officials should have the power to destroy the quality of life in Seattle. I believe we need a recall election for the whole City Council and elect sensible council members, instead of activists that apparently do not consider the unintended consequences of their actions. The only real solution for the homeless is to create live in treatment facilities that will actually help the needy rather than the dumping solution the council proposes. The homeless are real people who have needs, and they should not become local neighborhood responsibilities or problems as long as we have a functioning Government in Seattle.

Don't destroy our city. This legislation is useless, it does not even begin to address the core issue - housing & treatment. Just fills our beautiful parks with needles and human excrement.

Please find a solution that solves the problem, not move it.

We need a solution to the homelessness. This is NOT it.
