Seattle is becoming worse than SF, Our mayor is ruining our city! No one wants the homeless in our parks, Either figure out how to provide for them or place limits on how they can behave. You expect taxpayers to behave in upstanding ways, you/we should expect them same from all of our citizens.

Let's focus on getting people into real housing, not tents. Encampments don't solve the problem. Let's use the money to implement the ideas outlined in the Pathways Home report.

Time for tough love. As a lifelong citizen of Seattle... we all live by rules, regulations and boundaries. It's time for homeless people to live by the same mantra!

I pay a lot of money for my home to live where I feel safe.
This is absurd and needs to be stopped !!!!
This is outrageous, please don't let this happen. Our safety is at risk even more!!

How absurd of an idea! We put loads of money into our parks and if it goes through then they will be trashed within days!!!!!

This is not a solution - it is a disaster! It solves nothing for anyone. We need a real fix, one that provides stable, safe housing for the homeless people in our community. Do we need a child to be stabbed by stepping on a cast-off hypodermic in her neighborhood park, to stop this?

It is disheartening and horrendous what is happening with our city with respect to the homeless situation! How did this happen and who it responsible? Why should our public parks become tent cities? Is that our tax dollars at work?! I'm outraged!

Parks were always intended for safe outdoor recreational use... not for housing. The city council is losing their ability for rational thinking.

Passage would negatively affect our childrens' safety and our use of parks for swimming, walking, baseball and soccer and so on. We would be faced with drug needles, garbage pileups, aggressive behaviors, and so on. We need our lakes and parks to remain free of the homeless and I'm sure you can find better alternative solutions. That is what we pay you for, what we elect you to do!

We are making our city unlivable allowing this level of homelessness to exist. We need long term solutions not city camp grounds.

We cannot let this ruin our parks and public spaces. These were never meant to become the solution to the homeless problem. We need to address the real causes of homelessness, not just hide it in our parks.

This is a ridiculous proposal. Yes the homeless need assistance, but they should not be rewarded for their unwillingness or inability to follow the rules of society. Letting them camp in public places and giving them 30 days evacuation notice is rewarding them for unacceptable behavior. They are doing this because they do not want to follow the rules of a shelter!! How proud of a city are we to see these messes everywhere including dirty needles, human excrement - seriously you think this is a good thing for our city!! You should all be booted out of office if this passes!
