Poor solution. Very dangerous for the homeless and for others that visit the parks with their families. Continued waste of money with no long term solution.

This is insane...keep our parks for families and kids.

I am against giving away our parks and our city to homeless.

This does nothing to actually help the homeless, and I believe the impact of this will be overall increased camping. This was already tried in Portland and failed. Let's get a real solution that doesn't endanger our kids.

Please do not make our parks available to the homeless to live in. This is not a solution to the problem. This creates more problems including safety and sanitary concerns.

The direction these City leaders are pushing Seattle will destroy the city and the communities that we have all worked hard to build and nurture.

There is a better solution than allowing encampments in our public spaces, please find it.

Good intentions don't equal good results. Please, council members, give this more thought.

Moving the homeless to parks will not help them get into housing or address the underlying issues that made them homeless in the first place. Why don't we use the levy money we raised to address the underlying causes of homelessness?!

This is not the answer to the homelessness problem in Seattle. You already drove me out of Ballard because I felt unsafe in my own neighborhood with the violent drug addicted homeless people living on my street. Please don't make me sorry that I didn't move out of the city all together. Councilman Burgess seems to be the only one who seems to have a sensible grasp on the situation. Please listen to him and the citizens of Seattle.

This ordinance will not help the homeless and will create health and safety concerns for every neighborhood. Protect our parks, vote no on this poorly drafted ordinance.

You can have empathy without being permissive. This plans is permissive. Se attle should have high standards for its citizens and help them reach these standards. Not lower the bar so far we step over it. This law will chase law abiding citizens out of Seattle.

I am especially concerned about the environmental consequences. Poop, pee, litter, trampled ground, smells, and wildlife displacement are some of the many problems. Build more affordable housing and develop better and more available mental health care.
