It's a very bad idea and I cannot support council members pushing this forward.

Work on rehabilitation. Don't destroy our city. It is an embarrassment enough, as it is.

Please find a better solution than turning Seattle into a homeless campground.

Is there no end to this insanity? What will it take for you all, city council members, to wake up & realize you're all adding to the problems by encouraging & enabling irresponsible behavior?

Council Bill 118794 will do nothing to reduce the incidence of homelessness, and will cause many more problems than it solves. I commend Tim Burgess for his views on this.

Abducating the city's responsibility to the homeless is not the answer. Real solutions that provide adequate shelter and jobs need to be researched. Shame on you for suggesting this solution!

Our parks are already unsafe due to the people already living in them. We nearly had to leave Northacres during my three year olds birthday party after being badgered by some "campers". Please don't take the parks from my children!

There have been numerous successes with helping people in transition find housing first. This stability then allows them the ability to focus on healing and finding jobs. The encampments are harmful for the environment as human waste is left behind.

This a bad idea both for residents and the homeless.

Stop this insanity. We the tax paying citizens of Seattle deserve safe clean parks for our children. Stop enabling this problem! I support solutions to help with mental health and addiction services, providing jobs, more permanent housing.

It's embarrassing that the first thing our children notice when we leave Seattle is that there are so much less homeless people camping around. Sesttle homeless situation is sad and unacceptable. the city council and mayor should have the homeless people in their backyards instead.

This isn't the right solution! Tent cities at least have structure, organization and sanitation.

Build housing.
Look at Portland's experience and learn from it.
