Keep the parks for everyone to enjoy. The homeless need a home, but it can't be just anywhere.

Using parks dodges the issue. Several cities have already learned this. House the homeless and them the care they already qualify for.

The absurdity of this proposal is beyond belief. These people can't take care of themselves, why do we think they will take care of our parks. Driving down I-5 already looks like a shanty town tour with more trash every day. Is this what we want spread into the corners of our parks?

Please realize this ordinance does nothing to solve your goal to find safe environments for homeless. If makes it less safe and will turn our beautiful city into a dumping camp ground. Please talk to leaders in Portland and SF. This is a regional problem. Tho ordinance is not a solution.

This is the worst idea from Seattle City Council that I have seen, and I have seen some bad ones from them. They should all step down, in my opinion (except Tim Burgess).

Please do not vote for turning our parks into homeless camps. This is inhumane for the campers and is a misuse of the funds from tax initiatives levied t maintain the parks for the tax paying citizens.

I have a business in Ballard and we have homeless people sleeping in our storefront.
They will leave when you ask them but they leave their garbage, feces, and whatever they have collected. If you decide that it is OK for them to sleep in parks or wherever they want the city needs to be responsible for cleaning up their mess!

Please find another solution for the homeless problem and protect our parks for their intended usage! Allowing encampments in these areas is not right!

Just no to this proposal! Our parks are not for camping. Allowing camping would be a sanitary and environmental nightmare.
