This will create unsafe, dirty parks & sets a terrible example for our youth. There has to be a better way to help the homeless.

This bill would be disastrous for the city. Do not allow it to pass.

This is not an acceptable alternative for the homeless of Seattle. We need more mental health facilities and shelter areas, not city parks where debris can be a public health problem.

I can't believe our City Council is even considering this bill.

Portland already tried homeless public camping and it failed so badly, they ended their experiment/experience early. These public camping proposals from the Seattle City Council will create public health and safety issues that we do NOT have the resources to manage. This is NOT a solution and will actually lead to more problems.

We should not open our parks to homeless encampments. These parks are for families to enjoy, children to play games etc. etc. Our tax money should not be spent for this ridiculous follie.

this is not a compassionate solution to the problem of homelessness. We should learn from the failed similar attempt to address homelessness in Portland.

It's been tried elsewhere and doesn't work.

I have spent many hours cleaning up the garbage, used needles, and huma waste these people leave when they camp in the green belt next to my property. Please provide safe areas and transitional help for these people and don't trash our nature pockets.

My husband and I are homeowners in Seattle and are very concerned about this legislation. Our future votes will not be with the mayor or any council members that approve a vote on Bill 118794 as-is.
