Allowing people to camp in public parks is a terrible idea. By allowing people to camp in the parks, they will require more up keep, as well as, ultimately not be a safe enjoyable place for families to go for outings. Everyone should be able to enjoy the parks. The parks are not meant for camping or for overnight accommodations!

We pay for these parks to be clean and safe the people that are trying to camp there are Not contributing to the great City.

This bill fails to balance public health and safety with a compassionate approach to the massive homelessness problem in Seattle.

We should learn from Portland's failed experiment.

We must address the real needs of the homeless - this doesn't and it puts our beloved Parks and open space at risk!

How does camping all over the city solve the problems? Who is going to clean up these cramps? I have support all park initiatives because I thing in a large city people need safe places to play and relax.
Please do more research before turning our parks into encampments.

We pay taxes to maintain parks for everyone. This would allow the home otolaryngology usurp space that must be usable by ALL

There needs to be a better way to deal with this issue instead of temporary shifting heat from one side to another. What proposed here is a disaster waiting to come to the homeless people who needs help, the actual help in medical, real housing, care and job programs. It's also has negative social impact to engage civilians in an effective way to solve this all together.

Certainly, this is not the solution. These people deserve more care and it is our responsibility to help them.

Let's help the homeless in other ways. Have the wealthy land developers give more. Let's find them suitable housing. Keep our parks clean and usable.

With billions in revenues net new to the city, please come up with something innovative that does not endanger children. Please. Take a look at Vancouver BC for examples of how this is done.

I am moving out of Seattle next month because it has become unsafe. A man in Broadview was killed over his cellphone for instance. We live in our houses afraid of the onslaught of the homeless and thieves.

I volunteer at the arboretum and live 1/2 block from Rogers Park. These should NOT become campgrounds.
