This bill is not what the people of Seattle want. You're supposed to represent the people of this city.

we have constant vandalism in our neighborhood (as may as 7 cars in one night). We need totally new thinking on this issue.

Glad I am moving out of Seattle in the near future. This city is going to sh&@! If this doesn't get fixed, more people will go too.

Please hear the concerned citizens who believe this is a terrible idea to solve a problem that we agree needs to be solved.
The City must provide assistance to homeless AND enforce vagrancy laws. We cannot simply stop protecting public properties from unauthorized use. This failed in Portland and will fail here.
Please stop and work on better legislation that funds services AND more police to enforce laws.

People work so hard to make these beautiful spaces for families to enjoy. Homeless camps are toxic and are a threat to public safety. Find a solution to housing and support programs for these people.

Homeless people do not belong in parks and parking strips. This failed miserably in Portland.

The City Council must be responsive to its constituents - who overwhelmingly oppose this proposed legislation.

Our city is already an embarrassment of trash and hazardous waste strewn about by urban campers. We need programs in place to house those that need help and services for the addicted and mentally ill. We do NOT need a free for all to pitch a tent and shoot up wherever one desires!

A truly stupid idea that has already failed elsewhere.

Allowing camps in parks is NOT the answer. We are already seeing the many negative affects of this in our city and neighborhoods (safety issues, pollution/garbage, enabling drug use, etc). This so called solution will just make this already out of hand problem worse.

Thanks for your hard work on this and finding the balance of where are homeless can receive assistance and where we can enjoy our parks in safety.

Utter insanity. The mayor and council are unfit to serve.

I definitely support programs for eliminating homelessness and volunteer and donate to programs with that goal. But creating campgrounds in the parks is not a workable solution and will only create altercations and misunderstanding.

Thank you for stepping up and providing a voice for those of us that are against this.

this is not the responsible answer and does nothing to actually help people. This bill needs reconsidering immediately!
