Please don't let the homeless take over our parks and sidewalks. Do something else to help them!

This seems like a short sighted solution to a huge problem that is much better served by many other options. Turning our parks into campgrounds is a terrible idea.

Please do NOT allow homeless to encamp wherever they choose in our city! We had one person choose to tent across from our property while we were away on vacation. We live near Carkeek and this is not acceptable at all..

This is not a solution! We paid for this open space and we should be able to use them.

Parks are meant for people to stroll in. Playgrounds are meant for kids to play in, Sidewalks are meant for walking on. These places are not meant for people to sleep. We need to stop this!

This is not the purpose of parks. Try a different solution.

Having the homeless live in parks helps no one, least if all them. Parks are refuges for nature and animals within our cities. They're not meant to support dozens of people's daily needs.

Homeless shouldn't be at public city parks., instead maybe a person who wants to lease private property should be a camp site. ...

They tried this in Portland and it did not work! Why do they think it will work in Seattle?

This bill is absurd and needs to be stopped.

Please do not allow "camping" in public parks and other public places. It is unsafe and unsanitary for all.

This issue must be addressed with more thought and information to the tax payers of this city.

Build mini-houses for them with a community house for socializing

This is absolute insanity- the city council is totally out of touch.

Camping in city parks is not a viable/sustainable solution to homelessness. This is an irresponsible response, especially as winter is coming on.

This is a no-win...bad for the city, and does nothing to actually help homeless folks better their situation.

Don't ruin our parks with this harebrained scheme. If housing the homeless is truly a priority, come up with a real policy and plan .

Parks are not the place to dump the homeless. It's not safe for.them or others that use the parks for recreation.

How is this even a solution for ANYONE, let alone a solution to our homeless population. These are human being who need extra support and a safe place to live. Please look into how Salt Late City has found a solution to help it's homeless population http://www.npr.org/2015/12/10/459100751/utah-reduced-chronic-homelessness-by-91-percent-heres-how
