You've been elected to serve the city's taxpayers not special interest groups. Feel free to do your job. Properly.

This is a disgusting abuse of public governance. Listen to your constituents, not special interest groups, or you will find yourself on the outside in the next election.

This is ridiculous. I have a son who plays for the Interbay Eagles Football Club and see first hand what he is subjected to by the tents on the fields needle on the fields beer and alcohol bottles on the fields. This is not the answer. Letting the homeless take over our parks and green spaces is not the answer. Stop handing them everything. Get them therapy and work programs not $250.00 for having to leave a park just to move to another park and get paid $250.00 to move again. Ridiculous!!

this is not the right approach...it will endanger old growth forest remains (Schmitz Park), nationally acclaimed parks (Lincoln Park, Discovery Park). It needs to be rethought out...it is not the answer to homelessness.

As a long-time resident of West Seattle, I have worked downtown for many years. Please permit an extension on this proposed legislation so that more due diligence can be spent on determining the best and safest way to proceed.

I am a 59 yo 4th generation Seattleite. This bill will not help homelessness in our city. It will ruin our beautiful city which has become disgusting with all the horrible garbage around. Please don't let this happen.

As past Urban Forester at Seattle Parks I can attest that greenbelt camping will reverse 2 decades of habitat restoration by dedicated citizen volunteers.

Part of this law allows camping on school grounds. Are you serious?

Then there will be no parks?
Let's partially fund low income housing for poor. Then they can contribute part too.

Allowing homeless encampments in city parks is a terrible idea. Please listen to the voices of voters in this city and do not pass this proposal.

Trash, needles, human feces -- already abound in parks with current levels of homeless camped there. Imagine the complete trashing of the parks if homeless villages spring up. And the decrease of safety for all of us who use the parks daily. It didn't work in Portland; what would be different here? Homeless deserve a real answer to their needs for safe, warm, dry housing with access to bathrooms and showers. Please don't turn our parks into versions of the Jungle under I5.

I am very much against homeless encampments in public parks and other public spaces. We pay taxes to be able to use the parks, etc.

Tried and failed in numerous cities. You need to represent the constituents, many whom have a heart for the down-and-out and want to help. This is NOT the answer.

I don't believe that this proposal is the answer. Please take more care with creating a better solution. I have 2 children and allow them to play freely at the parks--this is something that I could not do if these changes are made.

Please keep our public spaces safe for everyone. Especially for our kids.
