We need to help the homeless, but this is not a solution. This will significantly reduce availability of public and natural spaces for children and other Seattle citizens to enjoy. PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CONSTITUENTS

I think it would be gross negligence for the city to allow homeless to use our city parks which we pay taxes to maintain. I already don't feel safe in areas due to the influx and now you want to take away the areas we as homeowners and tax payers pay for to allow drugs and trash to be thrown freely? Who will clean this up or who will clear the fields of trash or needles for children's team practices? Shame on the city for wanting to subject our youth and tax paying citizens to people who use the system to their benefit.

Council bill 118794 is foolish. Do not pass this bill

The Magnuson and Seattle area parks and green spaces should be designated for our children to be able to safely pursue outdoor activities. This is a health and safety issue for our young families the people who pay taxes and participate in our community. These people are harming the safety by leaving needles from herion and meth users and trash in areas our children play. I have encounter two people on the Burke Gilman trail where I walk my dog both of which were hallucinating and made me feel unsafe and threatened. We need lawful requirements that ensure the safety of the public not the entitlements of unlawful residents who would be better served in rehabilitation programs.

This is NOT a fix for the homeless problem.

This proposal by the City Council is hands down the most ridiculous proposal I have seen. This is not a solution, but an attempt at diluting the problem by disbursing the homeless throughout our parks

it is vital that we work to find solutions for the homeless - turning our parks and public spaces into camps is a terrible idea, and not the answer. It is actually an attempt to avoid dealing with the problem.

Please, City of Seattle, provide actual help to these people. Expand the designated tiny house/camping communities already in place, or make more of those -- camping in random parks and roadsides is not going to help homeless people. Give them some services, and ways to access housing!

These parks belong to us all. We should not have to recreate and have respite from city life with people living in the parks.

No to homeless camping. Yes to wrap around services for those otherwise law abiding citizens that want to move from homelessness to secure and stable long-term housing.

I'm tired of having my beautiful city turned into a filthy unsanitary unsafe place to live. Homeless people need treatment not a free pass

I care a lot about solving the homelessness issue in Seattle. This is not the right approach.

This is among the worst ideas I've ever heard of.
