I'd like to see the city find alternative spaces to support our homeless community opposed to camping in parks such as tent cities within set boundaries and facilities and shelters.

The Council has lost its mind. This is not a solution that is best for the majority.

I accidentally deleted signed petition to prevent homeless encampments. If that signed petition went through under my name then don't count this one Jerry L Johnson. Sorry

City Council, this is not a solution to the homeless problem. It will ruin our parks and only make the problem worse by incenting other homeless people to our city. Do your role and responsibility to find a real solution. B.J. McMahon

This is not a good solution. City Council - you need to do better.

Opening the parks to occupation is not the answer. It might be tough, but something more thoughtful than this solution must be hashed out. Work to get the homeless get off the streets instead of deferring a real solution for someone else to figure out.

Terrible idea. Our city leaders aren't leading and they are ruining our city.

I do not feel this is a solution to homelessness. The idea will make our parks unsafe for families and neighborhoods. We need a better solution!

Please do not allow this legislation to passes. It will do nothing to get these people the treatment or living space they need.

This is NOT a solution and will increase the number of homeless in the city. Please work with the organizations that help people get OFF the streets, and create more affordable housing.

It's sick the city would even begin to allow this. The homeless people need help not fuel to their drugs usage.

It's beyond belief what we are considering here. The problem is not lack of rights or services for the homeless. Please stop turning my city into a sewer.

Parks need to stay parks not campgrounds.

Listen to your constituents - we, the ones who pay for all this. This proposal is the most asinine thing I've seen in a long time.
