We have three small children and use these parks frequently. We should not have to worry about unsafe or inappropriate activities happening in front of our children.

The Homeless Problem in Seattle definitely needs a solution, but this proposal is not it!

This plan did not work well in Portland and needs to be adequately evaluated for how things will be better here.

Giving the homeless a place to camp does not solve the problem. It brings crime, garbage and more homeless to the area with taxpayers footing the bill. As usual, Seattle trying not to solve a problem.

We need to look to solve the impetus of this problem!

Am against CB 118794. Certainly something needs to be done about the City's homeless issue, and the sweeps are not an effective or appropriate approach. However CB 118794 IS NOT THE ANSWER. The city needs to develop a plan that will work to aid the homeless and the residents and neighborhoods of the city. Not aid one group at the expense of another.

There has to be a better solution.didnt Seattle hire a consultant to help solve this problem? Was this one of the recommendations. I don't think so!

Other cities have better solutions for less money. The Council is not protecting its tax paying citizens, their children and their businesses.

This is not a sound solution to these problems. Please do not pass this.

This is not a solution to the problem and will only create a situation worse for all involved.

Please find a more compassionate and logical solution for our city's homeless than this insane ordinance.

This is NOT the solution! The vast majority of Seattle citizens want to help the homelessness problem, but this is not it. And those who pay taxes are sick and tired of living in the middle of a bunch of trash heaps which overwhelm our streets and our parks.

This didn't work in Portland - why would we blindly do the same?
As a lifelong resident, I know there's a problem to solve, but this is not the best answer.

So not enact Bill 118794. It is not a good plan.

Stop the illogical attempts to band aid a problem that is beyond your ability and the ability of the tax paying, property owners to fix. Your proposed "solution" is not for the good of the whole. Seattle is on the brink of becoming a city of the haves and have not's mired in squalor and, like it has been as long as I have lived here, nothing but bark and no bite. You talk a good game but offer no long term solution to a giant problem waiting to take the city down.
