The homeless need homes, and help. Not permission to be in the parks. This is sweeping people under a rug, rather than cleaning up and helping.

Do not wreck our city with this ill-considered legislation. This proposal is a genie once out of the bottle you won't be able to get back in.

This is insane that this is even a possibility. I was running on the burk Gilman trail and felt afraid because of all the encampments I passed. Please. No.

The proposal to allow homeless people to camp in public parks seems unbelievable and insane to me, that's not the right solution to the problem

The council needs to represent the people who actually pay taxes directly.

Enough of special interests passing ordinances in Seattle. ACLU does some good work but need to stay our of city management. Many smart, caring, and data-driven people live here and should be part of this process. This is a poorly conceived proposal.

Please don't make this stable city and it's stable neighborhoods unstable, unlivable, and unbearable. This is a beautiful city with amazing community. If you can't do your job to find reasonable solutions, please just resign, and clear the way to those who can.
Thank you.

Hey council members, do you think this policy will improve the homeless problem, or aggravate it? This is a sincere question, because many citizens feel you believe it will be the former, while we all know what the real result will be.
But go ahead, vote for it. You'll see just how angry you can make the people who play by the rules, vote and pay taxes.

Homelessness is a real issue and the effects of homelessness impact everyone in Seattle. Opening up public spaces to camping is not a humanitarian or socially responsible solution for anyone. This legislation must not be approved.

This didn't work in Portland and it's idiotic to do it here.

Solve the homeless problem. Don't move it!
House them, stop passing the buck.
