We must find a better solution that doesn't prevent public use of our precious public parks and green spaces.

Yeah this is a pretty lazy approach to accomplishing the real goal of keeping people out of our minimal park infrastructure, and in homes and functioning like all would prefer!n

We need to help our homeless to find homes, but letting them sleep in parks and public places is not a good solution.

Help the homeless but Let the rest of us raise our families and pets in a safe environment. I'm voting all of them out otherwise.

I bike by Woodland Park and have tried to use the bathrooms multiple times, but when I go in, there are people in there shooting up heroin and yell at me to leave. The park already has about 50 residents for the last couple years, it's just going to get worse. My 5 year old niece just had a XC running race at Woodland Park and they had to change the course because of people living in tents. Parks are for families, not for homeless. I pay taxes and want them spent in certain ways. I pay for parks and homeless initiatives with my tax dollars. I want temporary housing made available, but not at parks.

Please do not allow homeless people to reside in our neighborhood parks. This is not the solution and we need to address the bigger picture here. Why do we have so many homeless in our community?

The notion of people, homeless or not, able to camp in public spaces is inappropriate. If seattle is a campground, then nightly fees should apply, just like in any other campground. Seattle's city council should not approve of homeless camping anywhere they please.

where will our children play, and who will take the blame for children infected by discarded needles. Obviously it won't be city counsil members.

Please keep our park safe. Homeless people need homes, not campsites in our public parks.

Parks should be preserved for the greater good. With the limited green space we have in over crowded Seattle these areas need to be preserved for their intended public use not for homeless housing.

Soon, Seattle will be like NYC of the early 1990's. Filthy, depressing, unsafe and unliveable except for the ultra rich. Our jewel-box of a city is being dismantled, regulation by regulation.

I am very concerned about the problems this might cause. Our parks would no longer feel safe and be clean.
